I've had a thing for bees for a while now. They fascinate me, and I love learning about them. I also like their honey! I read Fruitless Fall by Rowan Jacobsen in 2010, and The Honey Trail: In Pursuit of Liquid Gold and Vanishing Bees from the library. I watched The Vanishing of the Bees, and The Queen of the Sun. I am currently reading Honeybee Democracy and have Beekeeping for All on my bookshelf too. In October my husband is going to do a Beekeeping Course, then in November, I am very excited to be doing the Natural Beekeeping Course through Milkwood Permaculture. My husband went to a talk that Tim Malfroy gave and was very impressed by him, and by Warre (or 'Natural') beekeeping. By late Spring to early Summer, I hope we have our own bees finally... well, we have bees already as this short video shows, but I'd like to some to share their honey with us too!
