:: In Our Garden At The Moment :: Late Winter ::

I haven't posted in so long as I have a post on the go about homemade granola, which has become about soaking/ sprouting grains, nuts and seeds too. Plus I've been occupied, plus the kids have been using the computers and I haven't had much online time. Which is a good thing! I've been spending more time outside, enjoying the warm & sunny Winter days, or inside cooking and reading on the not so nice ones. In the garden, all the same things are still growing (slowly) as the last time I did a garden update, so here are just a few photos of some highlights. Above is the almost-blossom on our doughnut peach tree. Then the following photos show some seedlings in the (half broken) mini greenhouse, to donate to my little boys Preschool garden. The broad beans are flowering and it has been nice to see a few bees out. The chooks have been back on the lay for a month or two now, bless their little fuzzy bums! Fear not, I will be back to deliver the promised granola post, as I know you are now hanging out for that one!!
